Fans of taekwondo have the possibility of being handed out with three grates events at the ends of the 2018 season.

The World Taekwondo culminates its season of competitions in great: The Final of the World Championship Grand Prix, World of Taekwondo Team and the Gala of the World Taekwondo Awards, all the events are in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Third place for Mexico with: 3 gold, 2 silvers and 6 bronzes. For a total of 11 medals.
Fourth place for Iran with: 3 golds, 1 silver and 7 bronzes. For a total of 11 medals.
Fifth place for the United States with: 2 golds, 6 silvers and 9 bronzes. For a total of 17 medals.

The prize for the most active delegation was for the National Team of Senegal.
The National Team of Denmark took the recognition to the Most Combative.

The prize for the best traditional male Poomsae went to the Korean Jaewon Lee from Korea, while in the female branch the prize went to the Mexican Paula Fergoso.

The freestyle Poomsae also awarded the two best exponents, the female recognition was for Adalis Muñoz of the United States, and the masculine was for Na Tae Joo of Korea.

The best male coach was Yeol Ahn Hyo from Korea and the best female coach was Oh Lee Myung, also from Korea.

The best judges of the Taekwondo World Cup - Poomsae also came out with their respective recognition. Which were awarded to: Freddy Wuthirich of Switzerland, and Feng Ming Tou of China Taipei.

With these recognitions a new chapter of World Taekwondo is closed, leaving engraved in the retina of the fans of this great martial art and Olympic sport a pleasant memory of an extraordinary repertoire of the best of taekwondo, besides being the event with the historical record with the greatest participation.

The excellent organization in every sense was also highlighted, the athletes and attendees expressed their great satisfaction. The Pan-American zone achieved 34 medals, distributed as follows: 3 golds, 10 silvers and 19 bronzes. An important result.

The medals were as follows:

Mexico: 3 golds, 2 silvers and 6 bronzes. A total of 11 medals.
United States: 2 golds, 6 silvers and 9 bronzes. A total of 17 meshes.
Brazil: 1 silver medal.
Ecuador: 1 silver medal.
Canada: 3 bronze medals.
Colombia: 1 bronze medal.

The World Cup of Poomsae of China Taipei delivered a total of 144 medals, distributed as follows: 36 golds, 37 silvers and 71 bronzes. Where in the end South Korea would be the great champion and the best country in the Pan-American Zone was Mexico.

In the third place we find Mexico with a total of 3 gold, 2 silver and 6 bronze medals, for a total of 11 medals.

Brazil ranks 12th with a silver, while Ecuador achieved 13th place to achieve a silver while Colombia was ranked 20th after winning a bronze.

Spain with four bronzes won box 15.

Taipei, USA, Mexico, Iran and Korea all won gold medals on the third day of the Taipei 2018 World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships.

Korea continued their excellent form at the Championships as they claimed 7 more gold medals across the team and individual events.

Julie Tregeagle earned gold on recognized poomsae individual female under 65 at day 3 Korea’s Dong Kyun Seo won Korea’s only individual gold in recognized poomsae as he took the top honors in the male under 65. The rest of Korea’s medals were won in the pair cadet, team male junior, team male under 30 and team female under 30.

Home favorite, Chieh-Yu Li from Taipei won gold in the individual female junior much to the delight of the crowd while Julie Tregeagle from the USA won gold in the individual female under 65.

Mexico and Iran made it gold in consecutive days at the Championships as Paula Fregoso from Mexico individual female under 30 and Iran won in the pair over 30.

Korea won both golds available in the two freestyle Poomsae.

William Arroyo, originally from Oaxaca, Mexico, for second time gets the golden medall after an extraordinary routine, these result speaks out of the good work of the mexican poomsae.

A very outstanding presentation that left everyone in silence, with a score of 7,260 followed by the Kore with 6,980. To be a World Championship contest the difference is abysmal.

His first gold medal for Arroyo was in the cadet category (12 to 14 years) at the World Championship at Lima, Peru - 2016.

Mexico already has three medals on the Taipei Poomsae´s  World Championship: two bronzes with Ana Zulema Ibáñez and Leonardo Juárez.

The end under 30 poomsae competition was a total delight for lovers of the essence of WT taekwondo.

The poomsae, with a its splendor adorning the taekwondo, poomsae is the one that conserves the essence of this martial art, because in them we observe many elements that the combat does not use. The final at Taipei World Cup in China (2018) is an extraordinary example of the technical resources that this discipline has.
